Scope and Mission
The Communications and Outreach Committee manages IAEG Peru’s institutional identity, official digital channels, and public relations. It produces high-quality, scientifically accurate engineering content and drives marketing campaigns for technical seminars, webinars, and field trips. By bridging the gap between academia, industry, and the public, the committee ensures all initiatives promote technical excellence and maintain strict professional and ethical standards.
How the Team Works
Operating under a structured and accountable framework, the committee ensures seamless execution through centralized coordination with the Executive Committee. Team members work with defined roles, clear timelines, and open communication channels. Operational success relies on deep collaboration with national institutions (CIP), international organizations (ABGE, IAEG International, IUGS-COGE), and academic partners like CEGCC to deliver globally connected, impactful events.
Future Plans
Looking ahead, the committee is dedicated to delivering high-impact geoscience events with institutional excellence. Key upcoming milestones include executing flagship initiatives such as the 2nd Peruvian Biennial in Geotechnics (2026) and collaborating on global events like Slope Stability 2026. Through these strategic actions, the team will foster inclusive participation, strengthen regional collaboration, and elevate the global visibility of Peruvian geoscience.
