Advancing Engineering Geology in Peru
The International Association for Engineering Geology and the Environment (IAEG) core values and aims focus on advancing the science of engineering geology and its environmental applications. They include: Advancement & Research: Promoting engineering geology and improving teaching and training globally. Dissemination of Knowledge: Gathering and sharing results of engineering geological activities through congresses, symposia, and commissions. Equity, Diversity, and Inclusivity (EDI): Fostering an inclusive environment where all members are treated with respect, dignity, and equality. Public Voice: Acting as a worldwide voice to appropriately manage the risks between human works and geological hazards.
